Nail Technician

OBJECTIVE     

To prepare students to meet the State of Florida mandated requirements to become a licensed Nail Technician. CLOCK HOURS:  240

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION              

The Nail Technician program will prepare you to become a highly trained professional for this growing industry. Our hands-on program will instruct students in all areas of nail care; including practical applications, related theory, infectious control and customer service. You will gain the comprehensive knowledge to perform basic manicures as well as showing your artistic side by creating art on nails. The expertise you attain will qualify you to work on the most renowned nail salons, hotel spas and cruise ships or at any other establishments that offer nail services. There is no limit to your imagination and creativity; the opportunities are endless. If you are looking for a quick program to start a new career and nails are your passion, then this is the field for you!

All hours and services are those required by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).

Note:  All programs are taught in a cycle. Students are able to start at any point of the cycle and still fulfill all program requirements.
