*Exception: Florida Cosmetology students, who have completed all required services, exams, have fulfilled all financial obligations to the school and have obtained approval from the school's Registrar and Fiscal departments, may challenge the Board by taking the examination after the completion of a minimum of 1,000 hours of education. If the student fails any portion of the exams, they must complete the full 1,200 hours of education before reexamination.
The graduate student must submit all required forms and fees to the appropriate state license agency. All forms must be signed by a certifying school official prior to sitting for a state administered exam or receiving a specialty registration license. The Associate Registrar at each campus will assist the student during the testing and license process.
