Unique Hair Wrapping Techniques

It is such a striking vision — a woman with a beautiful scarf wrapped stylishly around her head. So if you don’t have the time for hair braiding and you’re sure even an assembly line of hair care products won’t solve your bad hair day, try quick and easy hair wrapping techniques that not only accentuate your face, but also give you an overall unique look.

All you need is a rectangular scarf. Have your hair brushed back from your face to make sure all your hair gets wrapped up. Simply place the scarf over you head and allow its one end to hang down a bit longer than the other. Cross both ends at the nape of your neck. Using the longer end of the scarf, twist it until you create a tight rope. Take the rope’s end over your head, approximately an inch from your hairline. Finish it off by tying both ends and allowing the excess scarf to drape on your shoulder.

There are also ways to spruce up a basic hair wrap. Again make sure your hair is neatly brushed for a clear hairline. Place the rectangular scarf across your forehead. Take both ends and tie them under your hair at the nape of your neck. This basic wrap can be embellished with brooches pinned on its side or using scarves that have fringed ends.

Hair wrapping offers you an easy, time-saving option for those bad hair days.
